An all American line up for this one, and surprisingly it wasn’t Mayday Parade, The Maine, or Have Mercy who caught my eye on the line up. Don’t get me wrong, All the bands are brilliant live, but it was Beautiful Bodies that had me running down to the venue camera in hand. I’d heard their single ‘Capture and Release’ on Kerrang! a few times and decided to check them out. They seem pretty under the radar at the moment but I have a feeling they will explode into something much bigger over the course of the year.

When it came down to business, Beautiful Bodies were first on and they didn’t disappoint! The band had so much energy and was constantly pulling all sorts of shapes, getting into the crowd and causing all sorts of hassle, so I had plenty to shoot. Have Mercy were pretty steady, but the lighting was on point and I left the pit pretty happy. From here things became far more difficult, as both The Maine and in particularly Mayday Parade had tricky lighting to get good shots under. Mayday Parade were flying around the stage in flashing strobe lights, pretty much all you could see was silhouettes so It was quite the test.

Here’s some of the end results:
